Film Festival at WellNEST
Mama Glow is a maternity lifestyle brand created by Latham Thomas, prenatal wellness expert and founder of Tender Shoots Wellness. Mama Glow! is also the title of her forthcoming book on pregnancy and wellness which has been endorsed by wellness giants including Dr. Christiane Northrup, Richard Ash M.D., Frank Lipman M.D, and Kris Carr, and features influential moms like Haley Binn, Veronica Webb, Doutzen Kroes, Rebecca Minkoff, Rachel Roy, and many more. The book will be released in September of 2012.
The Mama Glow!™ Film Festival at WellNEST was created by Latham Thomas, along with Haley Binn, mother and contributor for Hamptons Magazine, and Rachel Paletsky, an advocate for integrative alternative medicine practices and founder and creative director of WellNEST and WellNEST Studio.
The idea of creating a positive culture of birth that is empowering for women and families resonates with Haley, Latham, and Rachel. They decided to showcase two films that have taken a tremendous stance in bringing awareness to maternal health and birth options. With gratitude they welcome you to their first annual event honoring women and innate wisdom of the female body. We welcome you in joining them in shifting towards a healthier consciousness around birth.

No Woman, No Cry- Christy Turlington-Burns

In her gripping directorial debut, Christy Turlington-Burns shares the powerful stories of at-risk pregnant women in four parts of the world, including a remote Maasai tribe in Tanzania, a slum of Bangladesh, a post-abortion care ward in Guatemala, and a prenatal clinic in the United States.
Madamn Tizo- David Belle
The inspiring story of a 100 year old Haitian midwife/leaf doctor known as “Ms. Little Bones” in the town of Jacmel. The portrait of Madame Tizo is one of the rare matriarchs who embraces tradition and whose great influence resonates throughout her community.
